I just recently purchased a brass frame roa which had ugly rubber grips on it.I contacted ruger to find out which grip pannels it uses because they are about 1/2" longer than normal. They gave me a part # to get them from numrich which turned out to be wrong.I called them back and they not only found the right # for me but they are sending a set to me free of charge because of the mix up.WOW! What a company. Try that with a company from overseas.

I was told they are like a vaquero grip made for a straight trigger guard on the back side. They looks pretty much like the regular roa grips but about 1/2 " longer.

The Ruger folks have always done right for me and my friends that have Rugers. A friend of my son's bought a P85 from a neighbor for $50. It had been used and abused and the seller said the safety was broke. I did some research and found the gun was recalled, he contacted Ruger and they sent a voucher and replaced the gun with a new one at no charge, not bad for$50...

Everyone I heard of that has had an issue with a ruger has been treated like a king by them.I didn't realize that we still had companies that cared so much about their customers.I also had an issue on a ROA with a broken base pin and a missing loading ram.The shipping to them has to be next day air so it'expensive but they are fixing it free.I can't say enough good about them.

The only Ruger I've ever had to return was shipped on their dime and promptly replaced with a new one. :)
