I'll be driving from Phoenix up to Utah tomorrow, and I'll be passing through Nevada on the way. I don't have any current CCW for any of those states and it has been a while since I've really looked into any gun laws.
I'm pretty certain I'm just fine having a loaded gun in the car in Arizona and Utah, but I'm really not certain about Nevada. Can anybody who knows help me out?

Handgunlaw.us is your friend, and the Utah CCW is so easy to get, there's no reason not to have one.

Basically you're good to go in your vehicle Nevada. The chamber needs to be empty in Utah, or if a revolver, an empty chamber needs to be the next one in line.

Actually there's certain parts of Nevada that he's not fine in. The website provided however, is a wonderful resource.

Travel & gun laws.....

The "hey can I travel with my guns?" posts are common now on this forum.
Id suggest learning the gun & use of force laws in the areas you plan to travel in. Id also recommend having a valid concealed carry license or permit. Even if you do not plan to conceal carry or "open carry" a gun.
Keep your firearms & ammunition secured when not in use.
As posted, www.handgunlaw.us is good. Id also suggest www.gunlawguide.com & www.nra.org .
There are also cell phone apps like Legal Heat to review any state laws or ordinances.

Does Arizona have reciprocity with those states?

Please do check your state and the other states, with the online resources mentioned.

Utah honors AZ permit, but NV does not. Although, depending on how often you visit NV it may be worth it to get a Nevada permit. As Nevada's permits are allowed in Arizona and Utah.
