Well I agree that, if they were trying to rob the store (and they probably were), all's well that ends well. 
However... I'd like to hear a little more about the specifics of this. People sometimes have medical issues that cause them to drive into buildings. It would be a bad deal all around if she shot in that situation.
Perhaps they were brandishing guns??? Hard to say from the article, very little detail.

Yeah, I don't know if the BGs had guns. But I wasn't there, and even if they didn't, trying to hit someone with a car would be a good shoot for self-defense. If they had just fallen asleep, that'd be something different, but it would seem possible to tell. At least it is in the situations I'm imagining.
As in: Bleary-eyed confused man at the wheel as opposed to angry gang boys jumping out acting aggressive.

Thats pretty redundant. Since Asians have fought against fascism and foreign imperialism for a very long time, from the first Indochina wars of the 1880s to the Vietnam war of the 1970s. During the Vietnam War, there were many stories of female NVA soldiers in combat, and they are just as fierce as the men.

, but I just have to admire, in awe, how quickly a thread praising the actions of a woman defending her store against would be violent criminals turn into a full blown Ford versus Chevy debate.
A medical problem that caused an innocent person to ram his car into a store? Sounds like something a defense counsel would come up with.
I strongly suspect the only "medical condition" those guys had was a severe deficiency of money, and they were looking for a cure.
