Robinson Arms M96 - pistol grip question

I am thinking about buying the M96 in Cali. The socialists won't let us have a deadly pistol grip. Whatever. Robinson arms won't sell the grip because they want to stay out of hot water. Makes sense.

I am not going to put a grip on it while I am here. I plan to leave to free America someday. I would at least like to have a grip because I don't know if Robinson Arms will be in business 5 years from now. That would be a bummer to move and then have a nuetered gun because I can't get a stupid grip for it.

Can an AR/FAL grip be modified for use with the M96?

Do you have any relatives in the free states? If so, have one of them buy the PG for you.

I'm pretty such there is no such thing as a straw purchase on gun parts.

I haven't handled one in so long, I cannot recall the particulars of the grip.

With that said though, I am very confident that an AR or other PG could be modified to work if you can not get one from Robinson.
