Does eny one have one of these? I seen on there web sight that they had these one sale for $1000 and it comes with two 30 round mags a rear sight of your choosing and free shipping. It sounds like a good deal to me. Whats your thoughts?

RRA has very mixed reviews. The gist of it is that they apparently do target rifles well, others not so much. Look into a Spikes, S&W or CMMG blems for good rifles well under a grand. Use the saved 300 bucks or so for ammo or a RDS.

Yep if you want a light use but accurate rifle then RRA will be ok.
But the Elite Operator is not Elite and not for Operators.

to get the deel you need to have a local dealer who is set up with rock river to order it for you. i have ordered about 20 of them in the last few months for folks who like you heard of or saw the deal going on. You are looking at saving several hundred off of the retial.
Out of all the rra's firearms I have ordered in the last say 6 years I have had exactly 1 go back for warrenty work.

One of the best ar15's on the market.

I got a stripped Armalite lower for $127, then bought the parts kit, buttstock, grip and upper separately and saved a couple hundred that way. Its all Armalite and I have seen those going for around $900 but I doubt I have that much in it.
I guess I just think for $1000 you can do better.

Don't have that particular model and not familiar with it. As for whether it's worth it - suggest you check retail and availability in your area, as well as cost of whatever sight you'd choose and then decide.

Re RR in general - several folks at my club shoot them regularly and I've never heard of any issues. Quite the opposite in fact and if the one you're looking at has RR's match trigger, I'd consider that a huge plus.
