roggio ar-15 lower problem

the threads are not cut deep enough for the buffer tube,the buffer tube would not screw in past 2 turns.......kinda got me PO when i first assembled the lower but now i've calmed down and thinking straight.i posted a thread on the gunsmithing board asking to rent a tap and someone recommend i contact roggio and see if they would fix it......don't know why that thought never crossed my mind lol..... so i called them up today and they told me to ship it to them and they would cover the cost of shipping and repair it.so far there customer service seems to be good i'll update this post as soon as the lower gets back to me.
 
update ROGGIO left me a voice mail this morning saying they never got the receiver so i gave them the ups tracking number and serial number and my stomach has been in knots all day worried......they called me a few minutes ago and said they where sorry and they had found my receiver and would update me on the repairs Monday......i'm glad they found my receiver but i'm sitting here thinking "what kinda operation are these guys running"?
 
My AR has a Roggio receiver and I have issues with plastic mags. They won't lock in. I have to use military aluminum mags. Is that an issue to me? No. Might be to you. Might want to ask them to open up the magwell while they have it.
 
Yea my Roggio reciever doesn't lock in the plastic magpul mags either. What gives? I thought that had to do with the mag release setup
 
It has to do with the clearance. I actually dremeled out some of the metal on the inside of the magwell but it is ugly and I wish I hadn't of done it. The metal ones are just fine. Plastic mags lock now, though I have to push pretty hard... but I would have just left it alone and should have.

What can you do? With no mag in it you can see metal and the bluing didn't do very much to fix the ugliness.
 
update when i sent them the lower i sent it complete m-4 butt stock and all well i got my lower back friday and half the parts where gone including my M-4 butt stock so......i called........them........again.........and for the 10th time i herd ohhh we are so sorry....the butt stock and missing parts got here today......i sure am glad this is over with!
