Rohrbaugh prices

Will the prices of the Rohrbaugh 9mm remain so high indefinitely?
Or, will they eventually come down?
I am intrigued and would like to try one out, but damn!
That is a lot of money for an unknown just to try it.

Too high priced for me, however I believe it was not there intent to mass
produce the little fellows, just niche market so to speak. At some point
a gun can become too small to be of quality not sure this is it, but price
must come down before I try one.
