The legislation to adopt tougher gun laws in New York passed the state Assembly this afternoon, 104-43.

Seven Democrats—Robin Schimminger and Dennis Gabryszak of Buffalo; Anthony Brindisi of Utica; Bill Magee of Syracuse; Aillen Gunther of the Catskills; Donna Lupardo of Binghamton and James Skoufis of Orange County—voted no.

Five Republicans from Long Island voted yes: Brian Curran, Chad Lupinacci,, David McDonough, Tom McKevitt and Dan Losquadro.

I'd write them, but lately I've received replies from Reps saying I'm out of their district so they can care less about my comments.
 
I've run into that, and I usually reply that while my opinion doesn't matter to them it might be more welcome if I submitted it to who ever opposed them in the next primary and election - along with a generous check... :uhoh:

Sometimes you have to be gentle. :D
