I wanted to pass this on. I know some guys may be in the market for one and they usually are well over $100. :scrutiny:

If they work kinda like Beta-C drums, missing the dummy follower rounds would mean that your last few rounds would have no spring tension to push them up to the feed lips. That's just a guess, though - I've never used one of these drums.

Those are missing the followers which are next to impossible to find. You can get unissued ones that actually work from IOinc.us for $99 anyway.

Thanks for the heads up, you got me all excited about saving twenty bucks there for a second till i read the centerfire ad on their site :( . . .

Edit: no they would not work. The loading is like impossible on those single loading drums (that aren't the chinese rear loaders) without that brass linked 3 dummy round follower deal. also if you somehow got them in they would probibly bind up as the stacking structure would not be being maintained. And at the very least would not feed the last few rounds at all, that is IF you could find some crazy way to load it with more than a few rounds in the first place. If you have that brass follower thing they i guess they might? be a deal at $80 but i know of no source for the needed parts. I would pay like 30 bucks for a broke one like that to have some spare parts, but a whole nice new one is only $99 so it is not too attractive to me.

I can't believe I didn't buy a stack of the Chinese 75rd drums when I got mine 10 years ago for $35.:cuss::banghead:

I know what you mean. I remember when a buddy of mine got his first AK, and we went to the gunshow looking for accessories. We found the Chinese drums for $27.50, I believe. He bought one, and I passed because I already had 2! Sheesh.

Without a follower, 3-round or not, I doubt it will even function. Seems one could be made though from sheetmetal.
