I have read on a few different forums how to fix a WASR 10 mag wobble. I have applied JB weld to the inside just under the metal that was ground out, once it was spread evenly I cut out 2 squares of thin aluminum sheet ,a 1.1/4 long by 3/4 of an inch wide. carefully pressed the metal squares and positioned them.I will take pictures Monday afternoon to illustrate what I did in steps.

All Kalashnikovs have "mag wobble" to some degree.
All Kalashnikovs have "cant" to some degree.

If these conditions make your rifle unusable, then you have a problem to address.

If your rifle has these issues and functions fine, it's normal.

This was more of me not wanting to hear the rattle anymore,It functioned fine, it is my truck gun, my arsenal AKs are fine no rattle. This is nothing more than being bored on a Sunday. It is a clean and easy fix to a isuue on a very inexpensive weapon, would I apply JB weld to my Colts or Garands? no way!

What you did was fine, I have seen much worse from filling the side of the mag well with JB weld to spot welding small peices of metal under the lower rails. They all stop the mag from wobbling & making noise. I had seen one guy silver soldered a half penny to each side of the mag well to stop the noise, this was on a low cap. that was changed to high cap. & they went to far.:uhoh:
AKs are a loose fit gun in more ways than one.;)
