Has anyone heard of this guy?

I have heard a little bit about him, that he is anti and plain trouble for one guy and not so anti from another guy and need to sort things out.


I need to know what his politcal stand points are, like in terms of anti or non anti.

How are we supposed to know which Rosenthal you mean? There's probably more than 1 or 2 in the US. A little more information would be helpful.

EDIT: A Google search turned up 1,360,000 hits on "John Rosenthal".
 
I've seen the campaingn signs for a Rosenthal here in central Texas. Tomorrow I'll see if I can see any more. If so, I'll give you all the info I can.
 
He's the founder of Stop Handgun Violence, one of the more extreme anti-gun groups in the nation. That group is responsible for most of Massachusetts' draconian gun laws.

He was also instrumental in helping to found the "American Hunters and Shooters Association," which appears to me to be a front group for a bunch of gun-control lobbyists. The AHSA supports outlawing Ruger mini-14's, AR-15's, etc. as "assault weapons," outlawing all shotguns holding over 5 shells, all pistols and rifles over 10 rounds, rifle stocks with protruding handgrips, etc. etc. etc. Basically the entire agenda of the Brady Campaign, repackaged under a "hunting" facade.

BTW, that writeup is BS; Massachusetts does NOT have the lowest homicide rate in the nation. Last time I checked, there were several states with lower crime rates than Mass., and all of them were a lot more pro-gun. :D
