I saw a Rossi 462 in a gunstore the other day and was intrigued. It is an all steel six shot snub nose. I was curious because the frame seemed like a j-frame size, or maybe jusr slightly larger, but the cylinder held six shots of .357

What size frame is this? is it comparable to a k frame or smaller? It reminded me of a Detective Special in size

Do taurus grips fit on Rossi models?

And for all those who will say that Rossis are crap, Ok, Does smith offer a similar model? I am not afraid to spend a little more for quality, I just have never seen a 6 shot snubby that small, except maybe a Colt detective special.

I am looking for a small .357, and to me a revolver is just "suposed" to have 6 shots.

461/2 are k frame sized(think model 10)
I had one that I bought used and had no problem w/ it..I sold it to a buddy and he did have some issues w/ a screw flying off....but they are covered under Taurus' lifetime warentee...if it passes the reovlever check out,I'd get it.
I used holsters and speedlaoders for a k frame and both worked..

I would buy one for the right price. It would be a good backup to my 66 with same speed loaders.
