Was browsing around for a bargain carry pistol to add to the rotation and have lately been quite drawn to the little Rossi snubbies.

I've fired a Rossi .38 before, and found it to be better quality than the Taurus 38 I had (empty cases would stick in the cylinder).

I came across a shiny new Rossi 462 in .357. Checked all the cylinders, timing, and is spot on.

Price is $299, seems worth it but figured I should check with the folks here before proceeding.

How do y'all like your Rossi revolvers?

I've already had a few J frames over the years, but I'd like a little .357 snub nose this time.

Here are 2 recent threads about the Rossi 461/2. I recently bought a 462 and its excellent. Lockup is tight, trigger is superb. Fit and finish is as good as any revolver costing hundreds more. I see nothing that is sub-par, or cheap. Mine shoots like a dream, hits point of aim at 10 yards. The grip is nice, and brass ejects perfectly. I did take a Scotch Brite pad and tone down the shine a bit. It now has a hazy, S&W style shine. Great 6 shot 357 revolver
