I had 2" 971. It was a twin to the Mdl. 66 S&W. I thought it was built better than the Smith. I was stupid and sold it.

I finally tried it out at the club today. I put 50 .38s, and then 50 .357s through it with no issues. It shoots just fine, and I think it will be a fine little six shooter for me. I might look in to some of those Pachmayrs for it, otherwise I am pleased.

I still really like my 462. I think its a great value. It think it would even be a great value if it was a 5 shot...
