Rossi 971 VRC - Couple of questions?

I picked up this nice 357mag with the ported barrel at my gun shop a while back. Seemed like a great value. I have shot it a few ties now and I do like it. It also seems like it would be a good CC gun. So far I am impressed with it.

So, do any of that have experience with Rossi like their firearms? Good or bad, let me know your experiences.

Second, what kind of holsters will work for this revolver in a CC fashion? I just bought a holster for it, thinking that it would work, but the barrel is too thick. Not many makers of holsters that list Rossi as a gun that would fit. So, do any of you guys have an idea of what kind of holster might work for this revolver?

Hey mattd987,

I also have a Rossi 971 VRC with a 2 1/2" barrel. Yes it's a great little gun and I love it. I have two holsters, a uncle mike's nylon holster (size 2) and a Gould & Goodrich B29L/ 33 that I found at a local gun store used leather section. The Gould holster fits great, it's a nice tight fit.
