I want to knock the front sight out of my Rossi M92...which direction do i drift it out? Port to Starboard? Left (as staring up barrel from the butt to bore) to Right? Vice versa?

The Rossi's I have had were cut straight thru. Remember that the Rossi dove-tails are usually a touch larger than the real Winchester dove-ails and you need to order a ROSSI replacement sight. When I needed a couple from Marbles I just called them up and they sent the correct size.

+1 on my new M92. Can drift either side.

I just received a new 92 and it still has brass markings on the right side of the rear sight, indicating that it was drifted in from right to left.
