I've heard pro's & cons about Rossi firearms. Some say Rossi makes good guns, others disagree. However, I am considering what I think might be a pretty good buy. It's the Rossi RB22M .22 magnum rifle. Anyone have one of these, shot one, or know anything about them? Msrp is $175.

Hmmm. Might be worth a try. The next closest thing in price would be a Savage at $100 more. That looked like good accuracy.

Semi-auto though?

Don't have experience with them, but I will say one thing since Taurus owns Rossi. If you have another rifle to fill its role if it has to go back for repair work, then I'd give it a shot. However, IF it has to go back expect a 2-3 month turnaround at best. For me, as long as I had the money I'd foot for the Savage A22 Magnum just for the much better customer service. However, I know that's a bump up into a whole 'nother price class.

Price isn't so much an issue. It just looked like it might be a good buy.

Your title says a Rossi 22 mag semi auto but the gun in the video is a bolt action. I am surprised the guy is getting as good of groups as he is since it looks like he is resting the barrel on the front of the shooting rest. But I know nothing about these guns. I do have two 22 mag rifles. Both Marlins, a 783 and an 883. Great rifles.
