For Christmas, I'm thinking of buying myself a Rossi Single Shot 30-06/12GA or 223/12GA combo. I've not heard much about the Rossi single shots. I know the H&R, NEF and TC single shots are all considered good rifles. Does anyone have any experience with the Rossi rifles?

I bought a .22LR/20 guage combo about a year ago. The .22LR is surprisingly accurate and the 20 guage kicks more than any 12 guage I have shot yet. :D
It really is a neat little firearm that is reliable, durable, and accurate. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

My father also owns an over/under with a 3" 20 guage lower barrel and a 22 Mag upper. It very accurate and fun to go squirrel hunting with. If you miss with the 22 and it ticks you off, you just hit the selector switch on the hammer and it won't tick you off anymore.

I bought an old 357 SS, fun and accurate little gun. Look like a smaller and cheaper H&R.

I bought a .22/.410 combo and am happy with it. I think I paid around $109 at Academy Sports. Rossi always makes good looking stocks. I've owned H&R/NEF too and there's nothing wrong with them. IMO, for the money the Rossi's just appear to be better quality and better looking.

What's the story on post-sales support for these things? If it breaks or malfs in some way, to whom do you send it?
