I have a National Metallic (Midway brand) rotary drum tumbler. The drum by itself is not available (I asked). Does anybody know if other manufacturer's drums have the same driven surface width (i.e. compatible) size? The Frankford Arsenal drum is available individually ($56, backorder OK), will it fit? I would like to have a second drum for dry tumbling, but am reluctant to spend the money for a whole second unit I won't use as much. The RCBS drum is also available individually, but it is $90.
The bases look VERY similar between several manufacturers.

I know the tumblers tumbler has the basket liners lid and all other parts available separately. I could provide measurements when I get home but I fear it's the most expensive option.

Thanks for replying. I saw that, but the Thumbler has a different style driving mechanism, The RCBS, Frankford Arsenal and National Metallic all appear to have the same/similar driving mechanism and base.

If you post the distance between the drive rollers on your Midway unit, I can measure my Frankfort Arsenal drum.

It would also help others to check their drums on different tumblers.
