CSI Miami is guilty of the most frequent and flagrant violations of good researching principles where guns are concerned. They once referred to the Ruger GP100 as a "rare" gun! If Ruger didn't intend to call it the "General Purpose" gun, I'll nominate that alternate meaning to their moniker! They also had a show about a sniper who "made his own bullets" no good folks, he didn't cast, he was a handloader. That "sniper" went on to make six rapid hits on moving people at 2500yds using a .308 Winchester! But in case you were worried that it was a little to realistic, that sniper did all his shooting from the top of a skyscraper angling down to the ground below a mile or so away! Oh and before I forget, they once had a .25ACP which was fired, a conversation occurred then a person picked up the fired brass case searing his flesh to the brass in the process! CSI or CSI New York make no such errors and are immeasurably superior for a number of reasons. Chief of which is the absence of "Horatio Caine's" cheesy one liners.
