Hey I wanted to share something with you guys.

I recently bought a Bushnell TRS-25 for my 10/22 Ruger. I didn't want to drop the money on the Micro T-1 Aimpoint. After reading reviews and narrowing it to the Burris Fast Fire and the TRS-25 I went the route of the Bushnell.

First off, love the clarity and the crispness of the 3MOA dot. The low profile let it set almost perfect on the receiver of the 10/22. The brightness knob is tight and not the easiest to turn (But should it be? Not really)

The first grouping shows not a lot of adjustment was needed and would hold a tight group. Shot off a bag rest .

Free handed 25yds, groups were acceptable for free handed red dot. She is a keeper.

Nice looking rig. Maybe you could tell me a couple of details.

I have a 10/22 with an XS receiver sight, and when I first saw the TRS-25, I was speculating about whether it is small enough to fit on the front half of a scope base, just using the front two mounting screws, while the receiver sight is in the rear holes.

See, it looks doable, maybe. There's almost three inches of receiver top in front of the sight. What I was wondering is how the red dot locks into the Weaver base. Is the crosspiece in the front, back or middle? And, how high does it sit? If you could put up another pic of the side of the receiver, that would be great.

i can try to get some pictures of the side shot

it is absolutely doable with either a cut down weaver 10/22 mount or a small cut down picatinny rail cut and drilled to mount on the 10/22

however if you are looking for it to cowitness with the xs peep you have, that I doubt.

Interesting, I like it.

I just got done putting a Sightron S33-4R on my Marlin Model 60 last weekend. But have not been able to try it out yet.
