My first gun was a Ruger MKI. My father gave it too me. I've shot uncounted thousands of rounds through it. Been very reliable and accurate. Mine has adjustable sights and a bull barrel. It's a little bit of a pain to field strip, but otherwise, I'd certainly buy another (Rugers other products are another story).

( You didn't get a Mark I.

You now have a "Standard Model".

The Mark I had adjustable sights.

(I really like my 1958 Standard Model. You will like yours as well.)
Thanks for the info! Worth 200.00 Still?

Is it worth it for a Standard Model? Ayup.

I've a MkI I got in 1980, with the long bull barrel - still love to shoot that pistol!
