Today I ran across a mint condition 3 screw 44 that is in original condition (no transfer bar conversion) for $625.
I love it and want (not need) it badly.
I recently bought and am using a 44 Redhawk. I load a 260 WFN bullet with 20gr of 2400.
Will the Super Blackhawk handle this type load as well as the Redhawk.
Also am I dreaming or is the $625 a fair price for the gun?

About a year or so ago, you coulda picked one up for less than $400.00. The old 3 screw Blackhawks are going out of sight. I have been looking for a 3-screw 357 and have ran across a couple that had a price of $1000.00. The average would be close to $600.00 each now.
