My Ruger 44 carbine made in 1978 is experiencing loading, extraction and ejection problems when firing. After firing the first round, the fired case does not eject and the next round does not load. By hand, the rounds cycle ok. I field stripped and cleaned it good, including the gas port and piston. I have used all sorts of 240 grain jacketed ammo and it still has problems.
