I wonder? It could be a great CCW. Use the KP-97 in stainless, 45 GAP chambering, reduce the size of the grip. 15 round capacity+1. Adjustable sights, decocker and DA/SA. What else could you want? A 3" barrel? Melt down? Stippling?

Isn't the .45 GAP and .45 ACP the same diameter? If that's the case, then the only benefit I see coming from using the .45 GAP is a shorter grip front to back. The grip would have to be even wider to accomodate a double stack grip.

That involves making something new. Not like Ruger.

They've pretty much stayed with their bread and butter lines.

How is the gun going to be a 15+1? :scrutiny: The .45 GAP is only a shorter round, not a slimmer one. An eight round .45 ACP gun will hold... are you ready for this? eight whole rounds of .45 GAP.

Besides, no honest man needs a handgun smaller than a canned ham.

they never made a 15 round 40S&W pistol why would they make one in 45gap ?
never did the same for 45acp.

would be the last thing to expect from ruger they are to PC.

ROFLMAO!!! You FELL for THAT!? I even got the great Tamara! LIRPA LOOF!! A subcompact 15+1 in 45 GAP from the most staid and traditional firarms manufacturers? LOL! My dog is looking at me funny!

Josey, April 1 was yesterday...

Despite the April 2 timestamp on his message when he posted it was April 1. It would've been 8:21PM or 9:21PM on 4/1 local time when he made the post (dunno where in KY he actually is so I don't know if he's on Eastern or Central time). Remember, THR keeps GMC/UTC time.

To me the only justification for the 45 GAP would be a Kahr PM45, but only if they couldn't make it in 45ACP!
