In the new American Handgunner Ruger has an ad listing the Alaskan in 44MAG.

Taurus is the king of all that stuff. Didnt they make a 10 shot 25acp N frame revolver? If they can do it they already have! Ruger could make everything everyone could ever want but it takes them 20 years to screw a shorter barrel on a gun.

I tried for a month to get an Alaskan in .454 and finally asked for my deposit back from the local dealer......wonder if the .44 will be more readily available?
