Ruger American Rimfire 22 mag

I traded a 243 and a bit of ammo to a guy who had bought a Ruger American Rimfire 22 mag long barrel and couldn't find any ammunition. I intend to use this for short range (under 100 yds) varmint up to coyote. I have four two hundred round boxes of CCI 22 mag 40grn hollow points. Any one else had luck with this combination. Rifle is NIB and I plan to take it out about the first week of October.

Should work fine out to 150yds. Don't have a .22Mag version yet but my .22LR and .17HMR versions are excellent.

I have the "predator" version with the green stock and larger bolt knob. Mine is lights out at 100 yards.

I did the trigger spring removal mod and it dropped my trigger pull down to under 1lb and it is bump safe. I'd love to have another in 17 HMR.
