I finally came across some .22lr ammo at "normal" prices so I went out and got a new rifle to shoot it with. Looking at the options and price point I went with the Ruger. Pretty neat rifle and it grouped well with the irons while I had the scope and other accessories en route. I decided to put it in a Boyd's laminate stock and I'm not disappointed. The bedding blocks fit in snugly, and the finish and fitment is great. I also added a DIP scope rail, some aluminum rings, and a Nikon 3-9x rimfire scope. Can't wait to get it out to the range soon and get it sighted in. It has been too long since I have done any rimfire shooting!
