I like the Ruger Predators a lot. But if I were contemplating buying one and changing the stock I'd just buy a Tikka to start with. I'd be the same (or less) money for a bit better rifle. All of the "problems" don't affect accuracy in the least. I have them in 308, 223, and 6.5 CM.

Did this on my last range trip with the 223 @ 200 yards. I can live with that from the factory stock. The taped over hole isn't mine. I just used an old target someone else left up and taped over the bullet holes.

But if I were inclined to spend money on it I like the B&C stock the best. The black/red looks good.

Thanks Rorbert

Thanks for posting those pictures as well!

As you found out, the newer gun that take the different magazines don't use standard trigger guards or latches. When I did my initial post the boyds AR mag options weren't available yet I don't believe, or at the very least I hadn't seen any.
The older rotary/double stock Ruger stocks use normal 10/110 blind mag trigger guards.

Thanks JMR, I'd agree on the Tikkas for the most part. Over the counter I think they are the more refined rifle, and for someone not interested in tinkering they definitely are a better choice.
