RUGER BEARCAT shop keep grips

I have an ol beater Bearcat that lives in my hunting pack during deer season... would it be possible to mod the frame to accept the "shopkeep" style grips? No reason other than it popped in my head while sitting in the stand, wondering if it would be possible?

The frame has enough meat to be ground to birdshead shape and then modify the existing grips.

Does it have enough meat to be ground to fit already made shop keep grips? I saw some nice ones on ebay

I don't know, sorry - I've handled only the standard frame Bearcat.

I'm not sure you can make a regular Bearcat take Shopkeeper grips without some further modifications than shown in the thread.

They are pretty small grips.
Gave mine to my youngest grandson.

I am not a huge fan, but the little Heritage is $150-$200 NIB, and I have seen $30 rebates recently.

This one was super inexpensive, I guess because of the obnoxious grip color. It goes bang every time.
