Ruger Blackhawk Question

Buds only listed the 454 in the Super Redhawk.
If the Super Blackhawk is coming out in 454, I would think the frame has a different heat treatment
because the 454 operates at much higher pressure (65,000 maximum average service pressure).

I see where there is a Super Blackhawk Bisley in .454 Casull. I would say the best place to go for your question would be to write to Ruger and see what they say.

The .454 and .480 SBHs were released to much fan fare more two years ago.

Keep in mind the .454 cylinder is a five shot so it wouldn’t work in a revolver set up as a six shot - which the .45 Colt version is.

No dice, the .454 is a five-shot and the .45 a six. The .454's barrel is also a tougher alloy. Doubt the length is the same either.
