Well at least a few years back they could! This is my latest Ruger. I got it in a trade with a THR brother. He told me this was a specialy nice Ruger and he was right! It had a decent rigger pull when I got it, if you can believe it. A slight honeing and a hoarded set of Trapper springs and it has a 2.5 pound crisp pull now! My 3 other 3 screws aren't as good, only a Linebaugh conversion Bisley is it's equal. The gun has almost no play anywhere, and the barrel cylinder gap is .002" equal! Ruger gets lucky some times! I have the silly thing currently sighted in for the few boxes of Corbn 200 grain Hard cast Blue pill whistlers I still have. When they are gone I'm gonna stuff a 200 hard cast over 14 grains of compressed 2400 and have about the same load!
There is just something right about a Flatop .357 4 5/8" that says carry and use me! I am carrying this non Bar B Que ranch rig in this Sparks 200 AW, a perfect combo for a Workin Gun !
