Ruger Conversion

anybody ever see or hear of a ruger GP-100 or SP 101 being converted to 44 Special? . . .man that would be cool . . .i'm figuring they are strong enough in light of the lil charter arms gun chambered in 44 spl.

There are custom conversions of GP-100 revolvers to 5-shot/ .44 Special. But think in terms of very, very big bucks and a long wait.

When I lusted for a Smith 610 and they were not offered (not to get started on the political argument) I really wanted the alternative of a 10mm GP-100 but I never considered a .44 Special. Neat idea!

alot cheaper indeed . . . .except that i am "digitally challenged" in the trigger finger department. (short trigger reach) . . .therefore, rossi 720 and taurus 431 are the only 44 specials i would buy that fit my hand well . . .j frames too are ok . .hk p7 and kahr guns are great . . .it stinks having to limit choices but at least i have some choices eh?
