I've heard good things about the GP100 and am looking at it for my next purchase. What's a good price for one of these bad boys? Thanks in advance.

prices for KGP161's around here are$425, I bought mine several years ago its been abused and misused and its still shooting straight .i am going to buy another one but a 4 incher this time .

I'll second Thirties opinion that $400 is a pretty typical price.

They're great revolvers, I've put thousands of rounds though my 4" GP and it's tight as a vault.

I'm going to get another one, but with a 6" barrel next time.

I have a KGP-161, had it for a long time, a few thousand rounds through it, some reallllllllly hot, still just as tight and accurate as when it was new.

i bought my blued 4" GP100 for $380. adjustable sights. the stainless was $399. i love mine!

Thanks everyone. I picked up a stainless GP100, 4" barrell with full underlug, with adjustable rear sights for $400. Sounds like that's about the going rate. Put about 100 rounds through it so far and really like this gun. Thanks again.

I bought mine used for $225. Stainless, 3"barrel. It was a police gun so it probably only had 50 rds a year fired out of it, all of which were likely only 38 specials. :)

You can get used ones cheap because the cops dumped them on the market when they converted to Semi-autos.

Hogue grips made it a lot better !!!

I bought mine in 1987 for $289.00. 25,000+ rounds of full- magnums later, it is worth more than that STILL to me.
BTW, $350-400.00 is the going rate around here and I think it is a steal.

I have one of those police trade in GP 100's and I think its a great gun. I bought mines at SOG for about $240 and its well worth the price. As, Bonkers said, it doesn't look like a whole lot of rounds were fired through the gun. The gun is in great mechanical condition and the finish shows some holster wear. However, I had one hell of a time convincing SOG and my FFL that it was a CA approved handgun, but thats another story.

i just put a hogue monogrip on my GP100. feels nice but i haven't shot it yet with the grip installed.

I got my 4" full underlug SS, adj sights GP for $325, brand new.... Must be cheaper out here ;-).

I like my monogrip, the only downside is it takes some practice to speedload, as the plastic on the loader 'sticks' to the grip...

I also put some express big-dot tritium sites on it (major nice).
