I'm having an issue with my GSR which seems to be mag related. With one of my 5rd polymer mags, always on the second round of a fully loaded mag, I am unable to lock the bolt down. The first round case will eject, the 2nd round will strip and chamber, but I can't move the bolt handle downwards at all. I have to move the bolt rearwards and tip the rifle back so the round falls out of the chamber. If I reload that same round into the mag it chambers and locks fine.
I am not as knowledgeable with bolt guns as I am with other types, so could somebody please explain how the magazine could be causing this. I find it hard to believe that it's just a coincidence considering it only happens with that one mag and always on the 2nd round.
