Ruger LCP Holster: HIGH NOON's Pocket Grabber!

Hello guys,

My local shop has yet to find me a LCP but the holster arrived the other day from the good folks at HIGH NOON HOLSTERS.

The POCKET GRABBER is in natural horsehide with a black synthetic trim
that has a 'grippy' feel to it..


Sadly, with no LCP for testing. This fine holster
doesn't fit my Beretta 100% yet still looks good and feels great in the
pocket.


Sticky enough to stay firm but not so sticky that you can't take it out at the end of the night if needed.


Like all other High Noon products that I've owned or tested.

This holster shows great design and workmanship, and is
well worth the money spent.

Horsehide shouldn't rot, stretch or lose form like cowhide.
This holster stays put with zero motion from side to side and
offers a low profile in your front pocket, without sacrificing
a speedy draw.


In either material. The HN Pocket Grabber and Pocket Reload
should appeal to many a new LCP or other mouse gun owners.

Had one and thought it looked like a tumor in my pocket. It's very thick being leather and all then when you add the grippy stuff on the outside it gets even thicker. I tried 8 different pocket holsters and now use this one....

CZF, that High Noon Holster looks pretty good. What kind of texture is that plastic material ?

I've had HN PGs before. It is a fairly soft rubber - or rubber-like - compound, "tacky" to the touch. You have to A - loosen the holster around the gun, and B - press firmly against your leg while the gun/holster are still in the pocket before you draw, or the holster will come up still attached to the gun.

Thank you. It does work well and I thought this website is to share information with fellow gun owners as to what works and what doesn't work. I'm just trying to show people what options are out there for them. I have used the HN pocket grabber and I can tell you from personal experience it is very thick. Even a horsehide holster which is the thinnest leather you can buy is too thick, IMHO, for pocket carry. As always YMMV.

I use a holster of similar design, the Desantis Nemesis, for my LCP. I have a little bit of an issue with printing, which looks like a gun, especially when sitting down as the pants become tighter over the front pockets when you sit. This was not the case when I first got the Nemesis, it looked like a billfold in my front pants pocket. The problem is, the little tab extension on the bottom (where the high noon logo is stamped on this example) gets bent backward by the natural curvature of your leg over time, resulting of the loss of its profile in your pocket and the resultant profile of a gun taking its place. Honestly, looking at the two holsters (my Nemesis and this one from High Noon), I'd guess that the High Noon one would print like a gun even quicker then my Nemesis did (like, right away). Also, it looks like the holster posted by gwillis6 might be less likely to have this problem or at least have it to a lesser degree due to its more rounded contour. I guess if you wear really loose pants with big, roomy pockets, then you may not have this printing problem I've described, but then again I'd think you might have a less reliable draw as the holster might come right out with the gun.
