Ruger LCR.22?

I like mine. I got it once I admitted to myself that I wasn't very good with double action revolvers.

My usual carry is a Glock 19, but I have a couple J frames for pocket carry so I figured it would be a cheaper way to practice. That was before .22 disappeared from the face of the earth, but that's another discussion.

I've never done a side-by-side comparison of the trigger weight vs. my 642, but it I liked it enough to consider getting one in .38. Maybe it's the "non-stacking-cam" business. My only concern is that I occasionally would short stroke the trigger reset.

At any rate, between the .22 practice and some dry fire my DA snub accuracy did improve markedly.

I also do get some sticky extraction, but a light smack of the ejector rod against the bench frees it up nicely when needed. I had a Smith & Wesson 17 that was so bad I had to poke the empties out from the front of the cylinder.

I also find the LCR to be a lot of fun. Like most .22s.
