Really it is not that bad once you get the hang of it. I removed the mag disconnect and that makes it easier to assemble/disassemble because you don't have to mess with the inserting the mag etc. The most import aspect of assembly is getting the hammer strut in the right place to close the mainspring. I will tip the barrel up, pull the trigger to make sure the hammer is loose, and just tilt the pistol so the strut lines up with the groove in the main spring and it's done. I've just replaced, trigger with VQ, sear with VQ target, took out mag disconnect, and assemble was really not bad. Take your time and line things up and you're good to go! ;)

I always field strip a new gun and oil it up the day I get it. Couldn't wait to play around with my new Mark III.

GRRRrrr!!! $&#(@^!!!! Two hours and 3 bloody fingers later I worked out the kinks to field stripping/reassembly. Holy mackerel - I have never had such a hard time with a weapon. I'm sure it does get easier with time, but son of a b this was awful.
