A question for you Ruger Mark III 22/45 owners.

After shooting at the range today I took mine apart and cleaned it. Upon reassembling the slide would not go all the way in. It eventually went back in with a slight tap to the back of the slide. It was completely reassembled and then the slide was unable to be pulled back. I eventually got it to pull back and again it would not go all the way back. It's very tight to say the least. I have disassembled this gun many times and did not deviate from my normal routine and it has always been a champ at the range, I'm just downright confused.

Any suggestions before I bring it to a gunsmith to be checked out.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks guys , going to check the forum and watch the video to see if I can get it running right. I'll keep you updated.

Additional Info:

Checked the book for correct terminology now that I'm back home. The bolt is very rough going into the receiver. The hammer strut is correctly positioned and not the usual issue with the hammer and housing latch that took me a long time to get correct when I first got the pistol.

I tried to join the rimfire forum to pose this question to them but it will not accept a hotmail e-mail address. Thanks again.
