Ruger Mark III 6 7/8" and Bianchi M12 Holster

For a Ruger Mark pistol to fit in a Bianchi M12 holster, the barrel must not protrude more than 3" beyond the receiver. My Mark III 5½" protrudes 4" beyond the receiver, so does not fit. A 6 7/8" barrel certainly would not fit.

I don't think there are any Mark pistols with factory barrels short enough to fit. Of course, you could have the barrel shortened by a gunsmith.

(It doesn't matter if the Ruger is the regular version or the 22/45. The same problem applies to both.)

The M12 holster works well with M1911's and M9's (for which it was primarily designed), and any clones of these. It will not fit the new M17 / M18 pistols.

I figured it wouldn't fit, just wanted to make sure before I gave a definite answer. Thanks for the help!
