Good walking-around Holster for Ruger Mark III Target.

I have a bull barrel Ruger Mark III "Target" with a 5.5" barrel. I currently carry it in a Uncle Mike's No. 6 holster. It's a great holster to throw in a bag, but it's 1.5" too long and doesn't carry well on a belt.

I'm looking for a nicer holster that won't break the bank. I like a nice compact leather holster that works equally well as a carrying case (for throwing in a bag) as it does for carry. Pancake and paddle holsters are too bulky in a backpacking pack.

Any recommendations?

I made this one myself for my 22/45, they call it an "avenger" style. Sounds like what you're looking for.

You know, that reminds me, I need to go make me a holster for mine too instead of just sticking it in my front pocket (unloaded, of course).
