I had a chance to handle a Ruger Mini 14 in 6.8SPC at my Houston Gander Mountain. I forgot how handy of a rifle the Ruger MINi 14/30s are. If Ruger would only make a Hi cap mag.
The Mag well on the 6.8 SPC mini is the same as on on the Mini 30. The feed lips on the mag appear to be the same, same goes for the follower. So my question is has anyone bought one yet and tried to use hi cap mags for 7.62x39 yet? It seems like it should work.
