Ruger New Vaquero Birdshead Reassembly Problem

After using Youtube for the better part of an hour, I can't get my new gun reassembled!

My issue is that I'm not getting any tension from the mainspring on the hammer.

The gate opens and shuts correctly, the cylinder latch is under tension and appears to be fine, and I can get the frame back together without binding either of the tiny springs (the one on the cylinder latch and the other to the left of the hammer). I can cock and reset the hammer manually, but there's no tension on the mainspring and the hammer won't fall when I pull the trigger.

Is there a common mistake that I'm making? I can't help but feel like it's something obvious, but after looking at it for a while, I can't seem to find it.

Did you put the mainspring in backwards? The little bent part or crook in the hammer spring is on the bottom side.

Flip the gun and look at the trigger. Is the trigger spring sticking out? That is another common re-assembly problem.

All good advice, but I've gone back and triple checked each suggestion. I don't think the video above seem to apply to my birdshead new vaquero. The pieces don't just "drop in" like in the video. It's like there isn't enough room.

The trigger spring was what I thought it was, but it was popping back in just like it should...AND I put the damn mainspring in both was 3 or 4 different times.

Am I missing something here? This is frustrating. It feels like the trigger and hammer just arn't in the right position to one another, but there's only so many places they can go!!! I swear taking apart my blackhawk wasn't this hard.

Any other advise/videos on how to line up the hammer and trigger more effectively?

Well, it's just about 2am and I finally got it together. Don't ask me what I did different, because I don't know. I'm thinking that the plunger on the hammer (I'm not sure what it's called, but it wasn't readily removable) wasn't against the cylinder latch like it should. Not sure where there was room for error the 1st 57 times, but it's done.
