For some reason the Ruger No. 1 has caught my eye. I need an "accurate" (out to 150 yards) .223 for groundhog hunting. Have owned several bolt action and auto loaders, but how does the No. 1 compare in that specific caliber?
Call Marlin/H&R and have them send you a call tag to have it fixed, they do have great customer service and will fix it right. While it is there ask them to check the trigger and they will do a decent action job on it for free.alsaqr
You get what you pay for. I have a Handi-Rifle in .223 that is total junk: Oh, it shoots OK but has a huge, out of round chamber that ruins cases in a hurry. That gun is going away soon.
