Ruger No. 1 in .357 Mag OH

I know that Ruger made a No.1 in .357Mag with a CHP logo. Did Ruger make a No.1 in .357Mag without the logo and with a 26" barrel?

No idea. However, a 26" barreled, 10lb, single shot rifle in a pistol round would have to be the most pointless rifle ever.

what what I understand; there were a small number of No 1 rifles
in 357 magnum caliber that were produced without the California
markings. These were the over-runs. I think these were sold to
some distributor; and were not a hot item at the time.
I have one of these; it is a great shooter.

Thanks for your comments. Is yours a 26" barrel?

I run a lot of 148 gr .38 Spcl wadcutters through my S&W Model 52 and thought the Ruger No. 1 like yours would be a fun rifle for that round.
