Ruger police service six front sights

I just acquired a ruger police service six with 3 inch barrel, pinned front sight and fixed rear. I need something a little more visible up front. Does anyone make a white or gold bead, or fiber optic front blade for this thing? Thanks.

Can't help, but may I ask what you paid for that revolver? My first non-.22 pistol was a Service Six I bought new in 1976 or so. Sold it many years ago, and of course now wish I hadn't. But groceries were more important at the time LOL.

Any decent gunsmith should be able to make you one. Just some O1 tool steel and a file. I would have a gold bead on it. That would be classy.

Maybe one of these could be modified?
