Ruger police six at buds

So I’m drinking my coffee waking up and browsed the buds site. Top gun on home page is Aussie police turn in police six revolvers for 430.00. Fair condition. Reviews look good. I don’t need another gun but I feel like I would regret it later when they are all gone forever. You have to be a team buds member to buy it so that’s another 29.00. So 460.00 ish all in. Find a nicer one on the market for 500? There are no deals like snake gets here. That’s just stuff of fantasy lol. I’m torn. It’s SS. I’d rather have blue. Still find a model 10 for under 500?

You can still get the M10s for under 5 bills but a Ruger with police provenance is always interesting too. Of course finding one as pretty as your GP might be hard to do.

I ordered my Service Six 6/16, before "team Buds" and when the cash price was $407 (CC was $419).
Scrubbed and polished it
Pachmayr grips, modified the grip frame to fit Speed six grips.
Bobbed the hammer
Added a meprolight night sight.
After taxes, shipping, transfer and the sight I have a lil over $500 into it.
Shoots excellent, nice score in this day and age.

OP, you have a Ruger, and I believe you have a C.A. so maybe go for th M10. I don't think you would regret it for a second.
I unintentionally started collecting the M10 family. Not sure how it happened but I have a 4" tapered bbl, a 4" heavy barrel, a M64 4" heavy bbl, and just picked up a M64 2" bbl.
They just keep appearing

Since I’ve been here I’ve wanted a model 10-6 or 8. Police trade in preferably with badge tag. Also a blue police six. Also Ethier one in SS. Dunno what to do. Should have bought the 10-6 on Gb a year ago for 349.00 with holster and two loaders. Don’t wanna miss out of this six deal Ethier lol. decisions decisions...
