Ruger Redhawk rifling twist

What is the rifling twist of a 44 Mag Ruger Redhawk? I measured it with a dowel, patch, and ruler and got 1/4 turn in 5 1/4 inches for a twist rate of 1 turn in 21 inches. Is this reasonable, or did the patch slide giving me a bad reading?
