No, they'll be too long at the bottom. If that's what you're looking for check out the ones offered at www.cdnnsports.com

Don't forget they have a flat $9.95 handling and shipping fee. You may want to shop around a bit.

Thanks Fuff - what I'm looking for is a set of jay scott grips in white or black pearl. They are no longer made and the thing I like about them is their width. I can't seem to find anything wider than the ruger factory ivory grips. If I can't find any used I'll wind up making some to my needs - never did anything like that and don't know anything about it but that never stopped me before.

Are you refering to width (front to back) or thickness (side to side)?

If additional thickness is what you need I suggest you get a piece of thin plastic or wood, lay your present grips on the material and trace around them, then cut out the pieces and mount them between the grip frame and stocks. Much easier then making new ones, and an easy way to check things out to see if you've found the right answer.

At gunshows in this area old Jay Scott grips are often found at give away prices.

Genuine stag grips are expensive, but usually much thicker then the factory ones, and much better looking.
