Wow, great mod. I really want one of these rifles in .338 Federal, I don't know if it will work though. I'm set on the .338 so unless somebody stops me I'll just have to try it!
Looking to do this with a Frontier in .358 Win.,I say go for it with the 338 Fed. I am going to be a bit more difficult and use FAL mags,as they are plentiful around my current neck of the woods. M-14 mags are more than likely a simpler way to go but I gota go with what I got.
Just curious if there are any progresses that can be passed onto the rest of us?
